Habanos Festival, An Edict of Cuban Quality
Havana, Jan 14 (Prensa Latina) With the 16th annual Habanos Festival about to begin, the expectations from smokers of premium cigars are already growing, while the key seems to be some kind of edict regarding Cuban cigar quality.
Smokers are foremost at this meeting, taking into account above all the current world anti-smoking climate, with stringent laws against the habit.
Nevertheless, the Habanos Festival, running from February 24-28, goes beyond the mere attraction of a high-quality product, as a part of Cuban culture, for smokers and non-smokers alike.
This year's cigar party is dedicated to the handmade Premium cigar, in high demand worldwide, and considered to be the world's best due to its triple crown heritage of perfect climate, soil and the experience of its producers.
As a result, at the event scheduled for Havana's Conference Center and other venues, Festival participants will witness the product's largest promotional event and the one most attended by mass media, linked to the Habana cigar.
Tourism, the agricultural industry, and cultural identity have all played an important role in this meeting, to which more than 1,000 people from some 80 countries, above all entrepreneurs, dealers, or simply Cuban cigar lovers are expected to attend.
Dedicated this year to the Partagas brand, founded in 1845, and with the accompaniment of Hoyo de Monterrey, Trinidad, and H.Upmann, this is a very special celebration entailing the transformation of a kind of edict for the world regarding Cuban cigar quality.
